Morning of Testing: Checklist of Tasks from PARCC & SD 74
You are ready if you know the answers: Do you know your testing room location & time?
Have you checked this test session's roster in Pearson Access Next for accuracy compared to what the roster should look like as published in the shared Google Sheet? Did you remember to get your zip-seal baggie of secure test items from your Principal?
Do you have a supply of scratch paper and other necessary testing supplies on hand? There is only 1 sheet per student in your baggie.
Did you hang the "Testing-Please Do Not Disturb" sign on the door? LINK to print sign, just in case!
Know the Name of the Test You Need to Launch
These SD74 naming conventions will help you quickly find your test when it is launch time. General Test Names: TestGradeTestAdministratorInitials in lowercase letters without spaces
ELA3TQ is a 3rd grade ELA test Tracy Quilici will proctor
MATH6KF is a 6th grade Math test Krista Friedman will proctor
Accommodation Test Names: ACCTestGradeTestAdministratorInitials in lowercase letters without spaces
ACCELA4CW is a 4th grade ELA test with accommodations proctored by Cathy Winckler
ACCMATH7MM is a 7th grade Math test with accommodations proctored by Megan McCormick
Make-Up Test Names: MUTestGradeUnitXX in lowercase letters without spaces
MUELA51XX is a 5th grade ELA make-up test proctored by the TA designated by principal
MUMATH82XX is an 8h grade Math make-up test proctored by the TA designated by principal
Log into Pearson Access Next Portal & Launch the Test
Directions Shown in YouTube Video 1) Login with your username/password...the direct link is the "wooden button" above this text. 2) Click "Testing" 3) Click "Sessions" 4) Select Tasks->Show Students in Sessions & Control Sessions 5) Search for your test name in Session List 6) Click Test Name & Start 7) Unlock the appropriate UNIT, only 1 unlock allowed! (NEW)
Write Details on a Large Surface for All to See & Track Time
Draw a "timing box" on the board & distribute Student Test Tickets.
Refresh: After 20 minutes of P.A.N. Idling, the T.A. is logged out!
